Once inside, the cup is compressed and inserted obliquely until it fits into the vaginal cavity. For removal, the vaginal muscles are contracted, the detachment of the edges is checked, and it is gently removed, emptying its contents into the toilet. Finally, it is cleaned with water and neutral soap and stored in its protective pouch.
